1989 Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.6

Over-engineered the old-fashioned way — this 1989 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.6 is the kind of solidly built classic that just doesn't get made anymore.

Power comes from a 2.6-liter inline-six making 158 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque, paired with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive — a smooth, unstressed powertrain built for effortless long-distance cruising.

This 190E wears a handsome Black-on-Black color scheme, showing off the W201-generation 190's crisp, boxy Bruno Sacco styling that still looks sharp decades later. This compact Mercedes sedan earned a reputation in period for bank-vault build quality and driving refinement well beyond its class, a big reason clean examples are increasingly sought after by collectors today.

Showing 90,720 miles and rated in clean condition, this 190E has been well maintained and has passed Violet Auto Centre's full inspection.
